Fort Worth launched its first-ever bike share network not long ago, and it’s been quite the hit since then.  With dozens of stations and 300 bikes in the central city, it’s becoming a very popular and convenient method of transportation.

I’m helping to document the installation of the stations for the new Fort Worth Bike Sharing system.  It launches on the 22nd and they’re installing two stations per day.  The first in my ‘hood went in this morning, as seen above.

I can’t believe we’re actually getting a bike sharing system, but it’s for real.  The debut system will feature 28 stations across the central core of the city, and 300 bikes.  I’ve already bought an annual membership.
