Storytelling on Flickr.

Photography, like words, can tell stories. Good photography can give a sense of a person, a place, a time.

The definition of “good” can be fluid, but for me it doesn’t necessarily involve technical perfection. Sometimes, as here, the technically imperfect shots can be loaded with so much emotion and energy that they work better than the shots that lack the flaws.
